It was a small motor that attached to the wall with a large belt that you wrapped around your waist, then when you turned it on, it vibrated. It was pretty much a gimmick and I don't think it actually did anything. The idea, however, is that it would shake the fat off your body.

They were pretty popular in the 50s and 60s. They aren't around anymore, I have never actually seen one outside of television shows.

Does anyone know what they were called or where I can find a picture of one?
