How to appear as outgoing and a generally awesome person?

Hi I just started high school this year and I want to know how to come across as an outgoing, fun to be around, popular, awesome person. So far I've really only hung out with people I already knew before going to high school and other people seem to think I'm shy, when I'm not really. What are some tips to be a fun person to be around?

Just be friendly to everyone and be those things. People will see you the way you present yourself. If you act like your the hottest thing around and don't over do it they will eventually see you that way. Be kind to others and just have fun. I''m not saying to ditch your friends but try hanging out with more and different people. You can still be friends with them just don't have them as the only source of your social life. Try talking to as many people as possible. Just break the ice with everyone and say hi and smile when ever you pass someone in the hall. On top of that be confident. Don't care what other people think if someone thinks poorly of you let them think what they want. Its high school and most of the people there will have no say in your future so don't worry about that. Hope this helps you out.
