Taper Set Stretching
What kind of taper is best?

So, I'm stretching my ears to 10g and up until now I've been using the stainless steel tapers (came in a pack) but now I bought these plastic (acrylic I think?) plugs/taper set from spencers.
1) I've heard stretching with acrylic is not good for your ears, is this true?
2) can I get away with using them, or should I go buy stainless steel?
Thank you! c:

yes it is true that acrylic is bad for your ears. it is porous and can cause infection. now i have used acrylic tapers to stretch to a 00 and my ears were fine but i did not leave them in for more then a day (leaving them in longer can cause damage due to the unevern weight) now everyones ears are different so if u do use those and ur ears start to feel irritated take them out. steel and glass are the best and safest for your ears because they are not porous and wont build up bacteria. dont use acrylic jewelry unless u wanna risk it. same with silicone that is very bad for ears that are healing cause it can heal to your ear. hope this helps :)
