im learning to tattoo. I bought a beginners machine. and have been practicing on fake skin and grapefruits.?
is it really necessary to get an apprentice ship? is it legally required? do i need a license? IM not starting my own business. Input please. Im getting tips from my boy who actually did the same thing as i am doing. teaching himself and he has clients lined up around the block. but its not an apprentice ship and i dont have the time for one
Yeah, you're not learning to tattoo. Operating the machine on fruit and fake skin is very different than real skin. If you don't have time for an apprenticeship, you don't have time to tattoo. You're dirty and need to put your machine down. In 48 of the 50 states you have to have an apprenticeship or some kind of formal training to obtain a license. What you are doing is illegal. What are you, a high school kid tattooing his friends during lunch. I sure do hope your parents/guardians can afford legal fees, they're going to need them when your friends' parents start suing your butt off.
