Is tightness around the jewelry normal during a navel piercing healing process?

Also, I do I know if my piercing is migrating?

Yup this is completely normal. At first it feels really tight but with time there will be more room for it to move around and it won't hurt so much if you stretch. If your piercing is migrating, it'll seem like it's right under your skin and about to fall off due to there not being enough skin for the piercing to "hold on" to.
