In 40 years, Will Rap will be "Golden Oldies and lots of old ladies will have tattoo's?
Rock and Roll will be Classical?
The music industry is constantly changing its sound, so there's no real knowing of that... but it's very possible. Today the younger generations (mostly) don't listen to The Beatles, The Temptations, The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, Queen, Billy Joel, The BeeGees, Gilbert & Sullivan, all these artists who's music is now behind a time machine. Artists such as Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, 3OH!3, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, The Ting Tings, Flo Rida... all these pop, rap, and alternative artists. I'm sure your descendents will see you listening to your iPod and ask "What is that dinosaur?" (Similar to kids who have never seen a record). You'll let them listen to it and they'll say something about how much they hate oldies. There's a probable answer.
