I have an Ear Care Antiseptic from Clare's but its like 7-8 years old. Can I still use it?
I got a piercing in my ear but I dont know how to clean it and my sister said you can use the Ear Care Antiseptic but she said its 7-8 years old. and I want to make sure if its still usable or not.
I don't trust that stuff at all, especially after its been sitting around for so long. You should be cleaning your piercings with salt soaks instead. Mix about 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt (has to be SEA salt) with a cup of warm water until the salt dissolves. Then you can use a q-tip to dab it around the ear piercing, or you can actually dunk your ear into the cup. This is the best, and most natural way to help heal and clean a piercing.
