Does anyone have a fix for a scan/copy problem with an HP F4180 printer?

I have an old F4180 printer that suddenly refused to scan or copy. Printing is great. I have gone to the HP site and downloaded and installed Drivers and other Utilities but no success. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
