How can you treat a infected belly button piercing?

I have had my belly button pierced since last June or July. The top part of the piercing is fine. The second hole gets all red and has like a little bump or something around the jewelry. And it has puss coming outta it at times. I really want to keep my belly button pierced, but I need to find out how to treat it, so it looks normal. Please help me!!!

I had this problem. Have a bath and soak your belly then squeeze the pus out. It'll hurt but will come out a lot easier than squeezing when dry. Get some anteseptic and put it on straight after. It'll sting like hell though! Keep it as clean as you can. NEVER touch it with your fingers unless you have washed them first, it'll get infected again. You may have to this a few times as they get infected really easily. Took a good month for mine to heal up properly after.

That was 6 years ago and it's perfectly fine now, never had any problems since.
