I am looking to get a UV ink tattoo, from someone who knows what they are doing, not some hole in the wall place. I live in North Jersey, but i would consider going into the city if there is a great place out there. Anyone know of any place good?

im getting my ears double pierced tomorrow. the first time, i got them pierced with 24k white gold earrings and everything was fine. this time i want to get them done with earrings that have stainless steel backs because they are a little less expensive and i like the style of earring better. but my mom wants me to get them done with the gold ones again because she thinks its "safer". is there any reason i shouldn't get them done with the stainless steel ones?? thanks!!!

i recently purchased a tattoo beginner kit number 2 from newyorktattoo.com.. i bought it cuz i wanted to trach myself how to tattoo. but the thing is i dont know if i have the clipcord hooked up to the tattoo machine right. the way i have it set up i have to push on the foot pedal everytime i want the needle to move. am i doing something wrong? plese if you can give me some help try to add detail so i can do it right.
what im trying ot say is everytime i want the needle to poke out i have to push the foot pedal. i cant just hold it down and have it rapidly poking the needle out. is there a way i can make it do that?
