Im an eighteen year old woman and this will be my second tattoo if that counts for anything

Im 15, and i consider myself very artistic, im getting a tattoo kit for my birthday, and my Dad's eventually going to let me practice on his arm. Ive practiced on pork skin, and fruit etc, and im also getting trained by my uncle who has been a tattooist for 20 years.
Im not going to be stupid and sit there tattooing my legs, when im older, i do plan on getting a few tattoo's done by professionals, but i mostly want to be the artist rather than the canvas.

Do you think this is irresponsible?

Or is it okay to quote certain scriptures when the topic at hand and said scriptures are unrelated in subject matter.

For example:

1 Corinthians: 18-20 says (NKJV)

18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

This scripture is speaking exclusively of "Sexual Immorality", however, many christians will quote part of these scriptures to fit their own beliefs about other such things as alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, tattoos, and body piercings.
